Just about as fine as they come.  These antique Northland skis are made from high grade Maple and are in excellent condition.  Their labels are just about perfect and have been preserved with our special blend of natural wood oil and beeswax.  They also feature pointed tips (nipple tips) that were originally thought to cut and therefore track through the snow better.  Whether you are looking to add to your antique ski collection or purchase a set for your home decor, you cannot go wrong choosing this pair.   

Northland Ski Manufacturing Company was founded as the C. A. Lund Company in Hastings, Minnesota by Norwegian-born Christian A. Lund back in 1911. Skis, Poles, Boots, Bindings, Toboggans, and Snowshoes were manufactured at Hastings, Minnesota, St. Paul and in Laconia, New Hampshire. By the mid 1920’s and on into the 1930s, Northland was the nation’s largest producer of Winter Sporting equipment.
